Who Do I Go To, For A Massage

The best way to find a massage therapist or practitioner

  • Ask a friend
  • professional association
  • Ask at the gym

Referrals are the best thing, if that fails there are directory service, yellowpages and so on.

Things that a practitioner or therapist need

  • Have they a certificate/diploma with more than 100 hours of study
  • Professional Insurance
  • Are they part of an association (optional)

You may get a massage from a person and think it's the best and tell a friend and they go and they don't think it was so hot.  I used to talk about this to students when they came into my shop.

Massage is about energy and rapport. Regardless if it's physical or energetic massage. If the energy or rapport between you and the therapist is blah you will get a blah massage, if there is a great connection to your massage therapist you will have a better massage experience, you may have to try different therapist to find one that resonant with you.
